I am Jeanette Siegel, proud owner operating as Jeanette Siegel CPA, CGA. In 2004 after working for other accounting firms for many years and receiving my designation, I began operating my own, small independent accounting firm offering complete accounting and tax-related services for individuals, proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations.
I believe in honesty and integrity and my entire career has been in public practice service. With professional experience of over thirty years, I am dedicated to keeping organized and accurate books and records. I am committed to the success of your business and my own. Together, as a team, we will stive to meet your needs and goals.
I serve clients from across Saskatchewan to the Alberta border. Located in Spiritwood, my office is central to communities such as Shellbrook, Shell Lake, Leoville, Medstead, Glaslyn, and Rabbit Lake as well as the larger centers of North Battleford, Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Meadow Lake, and Lloydminster. Agriculture is a big part of this community, so in addition to urban businesses I am also very familiar with accounting for farming businesses. At Jeanette Siegel CPA, CGA we can complement your office with accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping support with full-service bookkeeping, including day-to-day entry, bill payment, invoicing and bank reconciliations. A unique service I provide is in house training and support for QuickBooks Desktop as well as QuickBooks Online and AgExpert. I can set you up to do your own books at a pace that works for you.
In addition to my accounting experience and expertise, I have 17 years of automotive and retail experience through the automotive shop my husband owned and operated. Through this venture I gained hands-on experience with a great sense of knowledge and empathy for small business owners.
More About Me
I have always enjoyed math and discovered a passion for bookkeeping with my first bookkeeping class in high school. The drafting of a Balance Sheet and Income Statement was intriguing. Immediately after high school, I acquired a ten-month term accounting diploma, but that was just the start. After many years of studying and course completions, I realized my Certified General Accountant designation in 2003.
I was born and raised in the community of Spiritwood and am married with children and grandchildren. Family is of the utmost importance. My husband and I both grew up on farms (can’t take the farm out us). We live on a small farm and are very active gardeners. Over the years, I have been involved as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Kinettes, along with other community organizations.
